Making a jungle & Safari of it
A good approach is to start with the build or pretend-play activity and treat the craft as something that grows out of it — make the binoculars before you go on the expedition, not after. Lay out materials for one activity at a time so the table does not become overwhelming. Each activity card lists an age band, which reflects the complexity of the steps rather than a hard limit; if your child is on the younger edge, the card will tell you where to step in and do the fiddly parts yourself.
